Countdown to the Memorial Day Parade: WWII Veterans to be Honored

The St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade is approaching, and leading up to the big event, Patch will be a profiling a unique aspect of the parade.

Parade organizers have invited members of the Women's Marine Association, Tuskegee Airmen, and a survivors of the USS Indianapolis and Pearl Harbor.

The 60th Annual Memorial Day Parade "Freedom's Not Free" will step off at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 27, on Harper,  with over 100 entries including military personnel, military vehicles, marching bands, civic and school groups, dignitaries and a special visit from the U S Navy Marching Band.
