Tin Fish Announces Plans to Come to St. Clair Shores

Tin Fish and Jefferson Beach Marina formally announced plans Tuesday to open a new location in St. Clair Shores.

Tin Fish formally announced Tuesday plans to open a new location at Jefferson Beach Marina this year.

The restaurant will open in the former Beach Grill on the Nautical Mile in St. Clair Shores.

“We’re thrilled to be opening a new restaurant at Jefferson Beach Marina” said Allison Koch, managing partner of Tin Fish Restaurants, in a release. “We chose Jefferson Beach because of it’s beautiful marina views and location on the Nautical Mile. This marina has 800 plus members, surrounded by one of Michigan’s largest seaside communities – we want to expose them to the Tin Fish experience.”

The restaurant, unlike the Beach Grill, will be open year-round for lunch and dinner.

“This is a great amenity for JBM members” said Danny Samson of Jefferson Beach Marina in a release. “Boaters are thrilled with the idea of new on-site dining and entertainment options. They’re also very interested in the new loyalty programs Tin Fish has available.”

Jefferson Beach Marina purchased the Beach Grill last year from Mark DiMaso, who helped open bar and restaurant on the site of the original Brownie's on the Lake, according to a story in the St. Clair Shores Sentinel.
