St. Clair Shores earned bragging rights for making the 'Best of Detroit 2013' list in Hour Detroit's June edition.
The Metro Detroit lifestyle magazine's annual rankings of food, drinks, shopping, media, services, people, leisure and more are based on reader balloting. Among the favorites were:
- Best Greek Food: Pegasus Taverna, Greektown Detroit and St. Clair Shores
- Best Jeweler - Single Location: Maloof Jewelry and Gifts, St. Clair Shores
- Best Place to buy an engagement ring (single location): Maloof Jewelry and Gifts, St. Clair Shores
