Wally's Frozen Custard, Red Olive Restaurant, Massage Green Open in St. Clair Shores

Red Olive Restaurant opens today, Wally's Frozen Custard hosts a grand opening celebration this weekend and Massage Green is now open in St. Clair Shores.

After a summer of renovations, improvements and relocations, St. Clair Shores is welcoming a host of new business openings.

Among the new and relocated businesses which have opened this week include:

Red Olive

The 100-seat Greek, Mediterranean and American restaurant is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. today. The restaurant occupies a part of the former Blockbuster store on Harper. This is the 11th location in Metro Detroit for Red Olive.

Wally's Frozen Custard

Wally's Frozen Custard moved from Harper Woods in St. Clair Shores this summer and will host a grand opening celebration this weekend. The walk-up, and drive-thru frozen custard and coffee station on Harper at Elizabeth, will have a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Saturday. Owners Matt and Eliza Ahearn will have complimentary samples of menu items, visit by Sprinkles the Clown, Wally's tattoos, fire truck drawing contest and giveaways both Saturday and Sunday.

Massage Green

The first Massage Green franchise in Michigan has opened in the former Happy's Pizza location on Mack. The building was renovated and transformed into a relaxing 10-room facility that features green-certified building materials and eco-friendly products.

Dollar General

Dollar General has moved from Little Mack and opened in a new location on Harper in the former Manzella's Fruit Market. Crews are completing renovations to the exterior of the building on Harper and are adding brick and decorative stone. The store is open for business.
