Shoppers Get Ready: Cash Mob is Coming to the Shores
One of the newest trends in social media, a cash mob, is planned today at Time Warp Antiques in St. Clair Shores. Organizers are encouraging shoppers to descend on the antiques store and support a local business.
The organizers of the inaugural in November are planning another event to support a local businesses with a "cash mob."
A "cash mob" is similar to a dance flash mob, but instead of performing choreographed moves, partipants shop.
Time Warp Antiques and Collectibles, which features costume jewelry, vintage paper, books, fishing, pottery and glass items, will be the location for the first "cash mob."

There is no set time for the shopping, just anytime between betwen 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the store located at 24905 Harper.
The owner is also offering 20 percent off everything in the store.
