Fans Pull All-Nighter In The Rain For Free Wings

Patrons began lining up nearly 16 hours in front of the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Sy. Clair Shores for the chance to get free wings for a year.

When the doors opened at 10 a.m. Saturday, after an evening of rain, the line wrapped around the building on Harper at 9 Mile.

Jonathan Garcia, 16, of St. Clair Shores, was the first of 100 people who entered the restaurant and received free wings for a year. The restaurant gave one extra prize to Jason Gay, of Grosse Pointe Woods, who was with his friends and would have been the 101st person in line.

The restaurant is now open to the public.
