Shores Summer Blast & Neighborhood Watch Picnic - POSTPONED DUE TO DOWNED POWER LINE IN PARK
The city's fire and police departments will be at this summer bash, where food, entertainment, give-aways, a splash zone for the kids, and a visit from the K-9 unit is planned.
"This is the city's version of a block party," said Cherie Mascarello, police community resource officer.
This is the second year for the event, which Mascarello said also promotes "crime awareness and unity in the city."
