Casting Call for a Kitchen in Need

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is looking for a Macomb County restaurant to turn around for his TV show.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is looking to bring some of his tough love makeover show to Macomb County.

The Macomb County Film Office is working with Fox Television to find possible restaurants in Macomb County to feature in the Kitchen Nightmares show.

According to a release, Fox is asking business owners to contact the production company "If your restaurant is having problems and you want Chef Gordon Ramsay to come into your establishment, troubleshoot your problems, and try to get you back on the road to success."

Interested restaurant owners should send an e-mail to Twinsworld1@aol.com and write KITCHEN NIGHTMARES in the subject line and include the owner's name, contact information, name of the restaurant, location, type of cuisine, number of seats, hours of operation, how long you have been open, number of staff, photos or website if available, and why Gordon's help is needed.

Macomb County has been a popular location in recent months for filming and casting calls for Margarine Wars, which will film in Richmond in May, and which filmed in St. Clair Shores. HGTV is looking for garage sales to feature on an upcoming Cash and Cari.

Ramsay has been in Macomb County previously. In 2008 he brought his show to the former Jack's Waterfront Restaurant in St. Clair Shores. The ownership of the restaurant has since changed, and it is now known at
