Ardmore Park Place Hosts Holiday Open House, Welcomes New Business

One of the oldest structures in St. Clair Shores welcomes one of the newest businesses to the city during the Holiday Open House at Ardmore Park Place

The historic, Victorian-era Ardmore Park Place has been decorated for the holidays and will host a holiday open house from 5-9 p.m. Thursday.

Built in 1880, and recently recognized with a historical marker from the St. Clair Shores Historical Commission, is currently home to unique boutiques, a salon and a cafe.

Each of these businesses in Ardmore Park Place will be offering specials during open house including 20 percent off entrees at the cafe, 15 percent off items in the wine and gift shop, 10 percent off in Urban Attic and Studio 5 Salon will offer chair massages, mini facials for $25 and raffles.

Thursday will also mark the grand opening of Treasure Trove in Ardmore Park Place. Owner Mason Haddow, has a larger store in Grosse Pointe Park, and is opening a smaller store in St. Clair Shores.

Haddow's new location features a number of pieces of unique gold, platinum and costume jewelry from around the world, watches and other items.

"I just love the building. It is so cozy and welcoming," said Haddow, who is offering 20 percent off everything in his store and will holding a raffle for 14-karat gold hoop earrings.
