St. Clair Shores Community Town Hall Meeting

The Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion will be hosting a town hall meeting toninght on the topic of "Ensuring a Welcoming and Growing Community."

Residents are invited to meet with community members, local officials, business owners and youth to share their vision for St. Clair Shores and how to make it a strong and welcoming community.

The Michigan Roundtable was initially invited to St. Clair Shores by South Lake as the district's population became more diverse. Their efforts were later expanded to include students and members of the community from and .

Residents who have participated in the efforts of the Michigan Roundtable have held community meetings and created floats which have been entered in the city's Memorial Day parade.

Demographer Kurt Metzger, State Rep. Anthony Forlini, R-Harrison Township, and other local officials are expected to attend the meeting and discuss the findings of the recent U.S. Census.
