Lakeview Elementary Schools Begin Year With New Computer Labs

Each of Lakeview's elementary schools have new computer labs for this school year.

Students attending Lakeview's four elementary schools will return to next week to find new computer labs in each building.

Students at Ardmore, Greenwood, Harmon and Princeton will each have a lab with 32 new computers and student and teacher stations. The elementary classrooms also now have interactive whiteboards and projector.

“We’re excited about the integration of this new technology in all our elementary buildings,” Assistant Superintendent Tracy VanPeeren said in a releease. “The labs will also assist us with NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association) testing, which is a computer based adaptive assessment. This will provide additional computers to aid in shortening the time it takes to administer our three times a year test through NWEA.”
