St. Joan of Arc 42nd Annual Spring Festival

On Friday, May 20 through Sunday May 22, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church will hold its 42nd Annual Spring Festival.

The festival will feature rides for the young and the young-at-heart from noon-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday. Ride bracelets are available for unlimited rides between noon and 6 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. Individual ticket sales will be available for rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There will be games of skill and chance, a Bake Sale, entertainment, and lots of food and old fashioned family fun.

A variety of taste-tempting food choices can be found in the main tent throughout the weekend. Of special note, a Spaghetti Dinner prepared by Marchiori Catering will be served Friday evening from 4-8 p.m.  Saturday evening will feature a Mexican Dinner prepared by Salsaritas Mexican Restaurant from 4-8 p.m.  Brunch with Msgr. Bugarin, hosted by Marchiori Catering, will be served from 9 a.m.-noon on Sunday morning. A Polish Diner Buffet prepared by Polish Village Café will be served from 3-7 p.m. Of course, traditional fair food will be available to tempt the palate as well.

The Entertainment Tent has a full line up for the weekend beginning with D.J. music by M.K. Entertainment Friday afternoon, followed with a live performance by “American Dream” on Friday night.  Saturday night’s entertainment features live music performed by “Night Line.” There will also be musical entertainment on Sunday and all local Detroit sporting events including Detroit Red Wings, Pistons and Tiger games will be broadcast in the Entertainment Tent for viewing on a large screen.

The festival raffle boasts a grand prize of $10,000, and the usher's raffle will feature a Wheelbarrow of Cheer. 

For the adults, Bingo will run Friday from 6-11 p.m., Saturday from 2-11 p.m. and Sunday from 2-8 p.m.  The Vegas Room will be open on Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m.-1 a.m., and on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.
