If you love barbecue -- no matter if it's grilling, watching or eating it -- then look no further than the 2nd South Macomb County BBQ Cook Off Contest & Car Show.
Bring a folding chair, slather on suncreen and sit back and enjoy. There will be plenty of cars to check out, courtesy of the United Street Machine Association which will display some of its "Best Show Cars," and of course there will be barbecue to chow on.
Event is free to attend, and hot off the grill barbecue will be available for purchase, including BBQ from "Lazy Bones" Smokehouse, boneless chicken wings, Carolina pulled pork sandwiches, St. Louis pork spareribes, combo meals, sides, and cool beverages.

There will be music, and a rib contest as well.
The cooking starts at 7 a.m., the celebrity judging at 2 p.m., and the awards will be given out at 3:30 p.m. for the "Best BBQ Ribs" in South Macomb County.
