Macomb Community College has a number of Black History Month events planned throughout February.
On Feb. 9, WDIV reporter Paula Tutman will be at its Center Campus Library to discuss her career as a black reporter and writer. Tutman is the author of Deadline, a novel based on her experiences as a police reporter in Baltimore, Md. She has won an Emmy and six Associated Press awards, and she's also worked at stations in Louisville, Ky., and Mitchellville, Md., a suburb of Washington, D.C.
