Michigan Boating and Outdoor Festival

The Michigan Boating Industries Association's Boating & Outdoor Festival runs through Sunday in Lake St. Clair Metropark.


The show features a boat show, outdoor recreation exhibits, live music and entertainment.


Hundreds of fishing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and cruising boats will be on display, in addition to paddle boats, kayaks, paddleboards and inflatables.

Entertainment includes a motorcycle stunt show by the Smage Brothers from America’s Got Talent! and music performances at the tiki bar. For a complete list of performances at www.boatingandoutdoorfest.com.


There will also be events for children with character visits from Patrick from SpongeBob Squarepants, bounce house inflatables and Waterwalkerz.

Admission is $9 for adults, children 12 and under free with an adult.


The show is open 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday.


A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required for $5.
