LCHS Honor Society Holds 'Mr. Lancer' Contest

The National Honor Society at L'Anse Creuse High School is holding its second "Mr. Lancer" contest Feb. 7 at John R. Armstrong Performing Arts Center.

The Mr. Lancer contest, which officials liken to the Miss America pageant, features 12 pre-selected juniors and seniors, who must perform a talent, participate in a group performance, answer questions and don their Lancer spirit wear and formal wear.

Contestants will compete for several titles, including Mr. Tough Guy, Mr. Guy Next Door, Mr. Charisma, Mr. Nice Guy and Mr. Fundraiser. The contestant who gets the most "votes" via monetary donations will take home the title of Mr. Lancer.
