"Haitian Harvest" Benefit at St. Joan

St. Joan of Arc holds a "Haitian Harvest" benefit, with the sounds and flavors of Haiti. The guest of honor will be Father Wildor Pierre, pastor of St. Joan's sister parish, St. Benoit in Dessources, Haiti.

Guests will enjoy Haitian foods, including a buffet featuring glazed chicken with mango salsa, Griot (fried pork), Riz et Pois (rice and red beans), Pikliz (carrots and cabbage coleslaw), tropical salad, plus rolls and butter. A cash bar will be available, too.

Island music comes courtesy of the "Up Rizin" Steel Drum Band.

Tickets are $25 at the door, or $20 in advance. Call the Parish Office for details, 586-777-3670.
