The first Jazz Cavalcade will be held Monday featuring the Kennedy Middle School Jazz Ensemble, Boulan Park Middle School Jazz Band from Troy and L'Anse Creuse Middle School North Jazz Band.
Each school will perform a short jazz program. To conclude the concert, a "jam session" featuring the primary soloists from each band will combine with the award-winning Kennedy Middle School Jazz Ensemble for a grand finale on Duke Ellington's "C Jam Blues"--all head arranged-- no sheet music.
This is the first such concert in the history of Lake Shore Public Schools--probably in all the eastside.
