St. Clair Shores Resident Crowned ‘Miss Pride of the Peninsulas’
Sarah Suydam, of St. Clair Shores, has advanced to compete for the Miss Michigan title.

St. Clair Shores resident Sarah Suydam was recently crowned "Miss Pride of the Peninsulas" in the Miss America Organization-sanctioned pageant.
By winning the crown, Suydam will compete in the Miss Michigan Pageant in June for a chance to compete in the Miss America Pageant.
Suydam was one of 16 contestants who recently competed for the title at the Joseph Stripe Auditorium in Grayling, according to a post on www.theweeklyonline.com.
Emily Penrose, a student at Scripps Middle School in Lake Orion, received the “Little Miss Pride of the Peninsulas” crown.
Suydam is the past Miss St. Clair Shores.
