St. Clair Shores Firefighters Raise Funds for American Lung Association in Ren Cen Climb
Three St. Clair Shores firefighters raised funds for Sunday's American Lung Association Fight for Air Climb in Detroit.
St. Clair Shores firefighters donned their full gear and joined personnel from other fire departments, and climbers from many other professions and backgrounds, in Sunday's annual climb to raise funds in the American Lung Association Fight for Air Climb Firefighter Challenge.
Before climbing the more than 1,000 steps at Detroit's Renaissance Center, the fire fighters raised funds. According to the American Lung Association, St. Clair Shores fire fighters raised:
- Derek Haarala raised $100
- Dan Sebastian raised $161
- Adam Walleman raised $100
Overall, participants raised $266,117 during the 2013 Fight for Air Climb.
