Five things to get your day started in St. Clair Shores.

Here are a few items to help get your day started.

1. Don't put the rain gear away yet. The National Weather Service is forecasting a 70 percent chance of showers today with a high near 65. Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 65.

2. The Lakeview vs. South Lake football game is in the running to be the WDIV-TV Game of the Week. Vote early and often in the final hours of voting to have the game featured this Friday.

3. South Lake Schools hosted a presentation on cyber safety by the Michigan Attorney General's Office. If you missed it, handouts presented during the student and parent sessions are available at the website of the Attorney General.

4. The city's Cultural Committee is organizing a cemetery tour to historic Mount Elliot and Elmwood cemeteries in Detroit. The tour departs Oct. 1 from the St. Clair Shores Public Library, and goes from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tickets are $25.
