1. Grab the umbrella as you head out today. The National Weather Service is forecasting a 70 percent chance of rain with a high near 62 with a north wind between 6 and 9 miles per hour.

2. The sky shouldn't be falling today. NASA's Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite is expected to re-enter the atmosphere this afternoon, but the satellite will not be passing over North America during that time period, according to NASA.

3. It's football night in the Shores. will be hosting and will be hosting Mount Clemens.

4. Homemade apple pies, made by the caring hands of senior volunteers, are being sold for $10 at the . Proceeds will be used for the senior meal program.

5. Throw on the muscle tee, and dust off that fedora, the Sports Channel is holding a Bad-Ass Bash at 8 p.m. Saturday.
