3. The St. Clair Shores Activities Committee announced the the annual at Veterans Memorial Park will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23. Plenty of activities are planned including trick-or-treating for kids (12 and under accompanied by an adult), plus cider and donuts, a hay ride and children's rides. Admission is $2 per person.
4. St. Clair Shores is again the city of champions. The varsity boys soccer won the MAC Blue Division Championship Wednesday with 2-1 win over Lamphere.

5. With the warm weather, an early fall trip on the lake may be in order. The National Weather Service is calling for winds from the east at 5 - 10 knots before turning to the southeast with waves around 1 foot.
