Here are a few items to get your Tuesday started.

1. The National Weather Service is calling for mostly cloudy skies with a 30 percent chance of showers. Winds will increase during the day to 13 miles per hour and gusts as high as 18 miles per hour.

2. Macomb County is hosting the Economic Growth Alliance's second annual economic forecast this morning at  Macomb's University Center. George Fulton and Donald Grimes of the University of Michigan Institute for Research on Labor, Employment and the Economy, will give their Regional Economic Forecast for the counties of Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, St. Clair, Macomb and Oakland counties. 5. Patch is looking for the kid in America who has the most creative Halloween costume in the pumpkin patch. Celebrity judge Heidi Klum will select the Grand Prize winner. Patch will whisk the winner to New York or Los Angeles for a three day, two night trip for two that includes a meet and greet with Heidi, plus a donation of $1,031 to a local charity of the winner's choice. Entering is easy.
