Mayor, Members of the Community to Participate in Volleyball Game at South Lake High School

Bump, set, donate. South Lake High School will be hosting a charity volleyball game Thursday to benefit Wigs 4 Kids.

The St. Clair Shores community will come together at 7 p.m. Thursday for a charity volleyball game at South Lake High School.

Mayor Kip Walby, Councilman John Caron, Lake Shore High School assistant principal Jannelle Bross, Lakeshore YMCA Director Joe Kovalchek, Cool City member Jennifer Hornok, Jefferson Middle School teacher Leslie Bice, along with members of the South Lake High School staff, will play South Lake students in a charity game.

Admission from the game, which is solely by donation, will be dontated to Wigs 4 Kids. T-shirts will also be sold to benefit the proposed skatepark in St. Clair Shores, along with the Shoresopoly games to benefit the St. Clair Shores Senior Center will be sold.

"It is a great way to show support for our community and demonstrate our city pride," said Pam Balint, South Lake superintendent. "Whatever we do to suppourt one St. Clair Shores city, business or organization, it really does benefit the entire community."
