The Ruiz family of Southwest Detroit lost their home in an early morning house fire. The family of 6 needs help getting back on their feet after losing everything.
Shelby Maidment's former student is the eldest child in the Ruiz family. Shelby has been touched by the constant love and support this family gives each other. As a community, we hope to help them survive and soar to the success they so well deserve.
The event will run from 12-2 at the Lakeshore YMCA in St.Clair Shores.
