Estate Sale Roundup: Shop Without Busting Your Piggybank
Plenty of sales are in the works in the next couple weeks, from the contents of a mansion on the market to finds for as low as 25 cents.

Why Go: You can shop this sale with pocket change. All the big items sold in an earlier estate sale, but enough miscellaneous things remain, most priced at a quarter a pop.
A MANSION OF POSSIBILITIES
Hartt Estate Sales has a four-day estate sale planned at a Grosse Pointe Farms home, the address of which will be revealed after 9 a.m. Sept. 7. Sale hours and dates are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 8-11. Here, the belongings of the CEO and founder of an engineering and technology company, housed in an 8,000-square foot mansion will be sold. A number of the items were bought in the family's travels to Europe, plus the contents of the founder's Palm Beach, Fla., mansion will also be sold at this event. Items on the market include a 2001 BMW 740L with 66,000 miles; a full-size Steinway grand piano, never used; Baker Egyptian lion arm chairs; Fran Murphy Swain living room suite; Henredon dining table and chairs, plus china cabinet and marble-top buffet; an Egyptian eagle bird arm chair; a seven-piece Lane bedroom suite; sofa sets; office desks and chairs; a large pair of bronze crystal Greek face urns; chandeliers; a Grand Prix Ferrari 801 F1 gasoline race car; dolls and figurines; large sets of dinnerware, including Limoge, Lenox and Royal Crown Derby; Baccarat crystal and German cut crystal stemware; appliances; plus gardening and landscaping equipment. A number of items, including the Lane bedroom suite, are signed.
Those attending the sale will be charged a $3 admission fee, which will go toward Dads of Detroit.

FROM CLOTHING TO GARAGE GOODIES
Integrity Estate Sales is planning a three-day sale in Grosse Pointe Woods, address to be released after 9 a.m. Sept. 7. Sale times and dates are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 8, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 9 and 10.
Items for sale include furnishings, men's and women's clothing, glassware, kitchenware, tools, firearms, garage items, plus household goods.
