A cross-section of the community from students to seniors took to the court Tuesday at South Lake High School for a dodgeball game to benefit the St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center.
The game was organized by the St. Clair Shores Youth Diversity Council and was officiated by Lakeshore Family YMCA Director Joe Kovalchek
Nearly 40 students, representatives of the local school district, city personnel and city councilmembers Candice Rusie and Pete Rubino took part in the game.
The team, led by Rubino who won a one-on-one sudden death face-off during the final match, was crowned the champions of the event.
