Celebrity Stylist to Nicki Minaj Partners With Wigs 4 Kids for Fundraiser

Celebrity hairstylist Terrence Davidson will deliver custom-made wigs to children in the Wigs 4 Kids program at a fashion show Wednesday at Barrister Gardens in St. Clair Shores.

Celebrity stylist to the stars will be deliver custom-made wigs to 10 children in the Wigs 4 Kids program at a fashion show for the St. Clair Shores-based charity.

Terrence Davidson, whose clients include Tyra Banks, Patti Labelle, Jennifer Hudson and Nicki Minaj, will deliver the custom-made wigs to the Wigs 4 Kids Fashion Show from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Barrister Gardens.

Children receiving Davidson’s creations will "strut their stuff" on the runway and  during the fashion show fundraiser, organizers said.

“We are so fortunate to have a national figure in the beauty industry come and share his talent, creativity and generosity to help continue the mission of Wigs 4 Kids and support us in serving the children of Michigan,” said Wigs 4 Kids Founder and CEO Maggie Varney in a release.

The fundraiser will include a strolling dinner, cash bar and entertainment by Rod Stewart tribute artist, Danny D. Tickets are $30, and $40 for VIP seating and photo opportunities with Davidson.

Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit Wigs 4 Kids, which is a local, grassroots, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides wigs and support services to children experiencing hair loss as a result of illness and treatment. This program is available to Michigan children between the ages of 3 and 18 at no cost to them or their families.
