Bruce Post to 'Welcome Home' Event for Vietnam Veterans
The VFW Bruce Post 1146 will "welcome home" Vietnam vets Saturday.
The Bruce Post VFW will be hosting an open house from Saturday as part of a national recognition of Vietnam veterans.
Across the country on March 30, which is designated Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day, a variety of events are planned to coincide with the anniversary of the withdrawal of troops.
In St. Clair Shores, the Bruce Post VFW will be hosting an open house from 3-7 p.m. to honor Vietnam veterans with free entry, munchies, patriotic chorus and bag pipers. The Vietnam Moving Wall will also be at the Post.
