Bikes and Cars to Cruise the Nautical Mile
The Venetian Festival on the Nautical Mile starts Thursday with a car cruise and bike night to benefit Save our South Channel Lights.
Cruisers will trade their boats for cars and motorcycles Thursday for the annual car cruise and bike night on the Nautical Mile.
The event, which kicks off the Venetian Festival on the Nautical Mile, runs 6 - 9 p.m. Thursday along Jefferson between 9 and 10 Mile roads. Organizers said the there will be a WRIF-FM DJ will at Mastro's Ice Cream.
Additionally there will be live entertainment at Ram's Horn. The cruise will also be a benefit the Save our South Channel Lights organization, which is restoring of the range lights on Lake St. Clair. Additionally, the organization will have a booth set up in front of Mastro's to sell merchandise.
