The Salvation Army of Warren accepting clothing donations

The Salvation Army Warren Corps Community Center is seeking clothing donations now through Sept. 11 for its 17th annual Dress an Angel Program. New school clothes of various sizes (starting with size 4 through size 18), along with socks, underwear, t-shirts, belts, hoodies or light jackets, sweaters, and other accessories can be dropped off at 24140 Mound Road in Warren weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Donations are crucial to the success of this program as The Salvation Army anticipates serving more than 150 children.

The Dress an Angel Program provides southern Macomb County students ages 6-12 with a new, fashionable back-to-school outfit for the upcoming academic school year. Each child identified by The Salvation Army will choose a complete outfit, including accessories as they are available, with the help of a volunteer.
