"Music in the Woods" First Sunday Concert with Archaic Revival

Archaic Revival (AR) is a band from the Detroit Metro area that specializes in Renaissance and Medieval Ballades and popular music.  AR was formed in 2013 in tribute to Owain Phyfe, a friend and inspiration who died late in 2012.  They focus upon the lyrical melodies and driving rhythms in the vein of the best troubadours of yore.  You will hear the stories of lives and loves from times gone by, and be transported to simpler times through the driving rhythms of Jesse Gibbs, building upon the musical foundations of Derek Cvengros and Kevin Naeve, and the lyrical storytelling of Leslie Naeve.  Join us on this lyrical voyage through time at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.  Light refreshments and afterglow follow the concert!
