Thank you to Carol Visconti and Jaime Gardner for representing Wigs 4 Kids at this past Saturday’s Wigging Out 5 K Race in Monroe, Michigan. Our wonderful volunteer, Bob Hurley, was part of the group who organized doing the event and 90 runners came out to raise funds for our organization. The registration included t-shirts and medals were awarded and the event was a great success.
Carol did a super job of assisting and supported the ladies who organized the run and she will be setting up a third party race event of her own on this side of town in the near future. Carol also connected with 2 other individuals who were touched by our program and want to do a similar event. Congratulations to Jaime who ran in the event!! Everyone who attended the race had a great time and we were well represented!
