The Bruce Post VFW will be hosting a Cinco De Mayo celebration. Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 5.
A $20 donation is requested at the door and includes an open bar and taco bar. There will also be a chili and nacho bar.
There will be a best dressed contest, raffle prizes and DJ entertainment.
Proceeds go to the "Save Our Post Fund."

The Veterans of Foreign Wars dedicates itself to "Honoring the dead by serving the living." Various community events and fundraisers take place at the Bruce Post VFW on Jefferson. The banquet halls are available for rental for private parties such as weddings, graduation parties and family reunions. Facilities include an outdoor pavillion and a gazebo on the lake as well as three indoor banquet halls with capacities of 75, 150 and 300 people respectively.
