Organizers of the St. Clair Shores Relay for Life will hold their kick-off Tuesday for the 2012 Relay at the St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center.
Last year, 51 teams with 700 participants took part in the 24-hour fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Together, they raised $154,000 for the American Cancer Society and made the St. Clair Shores Relay one of the top 25 Relays in Michigan.
The event will be held this year June 8-9 at Blossom Heath Park.

More About Senior Activities Center
The St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center has a number of offerings for residents 50 years old and older. Throughout the day a number of programs and activities are offered including card games, computer classes, dancing and crafts. A workout room is also available. Additional offerings include trips, health screenings and speakers.
