Create your very own fairy tale Pewabic Tile using the “Once Upon a Time: Grimmly Inspired” exhibit or Josephine’s Play House and its stone-carved nursery rhymes as inspiration. Tiles will be created at Ford House, fired at Pewabic Pottery and available at Ford House to be picked up at a later date. Recommended for ages 4-12 (children ages 4-5 must have an adult present to assist them)
More About Edsel & Eleanor Ford House
The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House gives visitors a glimpse into the lives of one of Detroit's most notable families through a variety of multimedia displays. The Albert Kahn-designed home was built in 1926 for the family and was later transferred to a trust to allow for public uses of the grounds of the estate.
Family events, concerts by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and lunch and dinners on the grounds are among a variety of events offered at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House.
