Moe's Rock'n Blues Fest
A day of music has been planned to honor the late Moe Motyka, and raise funds for the memorial fund named after the musician.
More than 40 musicians will take the stage between 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday at the VFW Bruce Post #1146 for the tribute concert for Motyka, who died last October.
In addition to the wide variety of music, there will be BBQ and Polish food from Moe's mom "Mama Moe."
There will also be dunk tanks, inflatable play scapes, games and prizes including a 46-inch flat screen, PS3 bundle pack, and more than 50-hand made gift baskets.
Shirts will also be sold to comemorate the event.
Additionally, Livedetroit.TV will be broadcasting a live stream around the world.
Viewers will have a opportunity to donate to the Moe Motyka Memorial Fund.
Mike Boulan is the Special MC Host and there will be special performances by:

100% of the proceeds to benefit the Brian "Moe" Motyka memorial fund.

More About Veterans of Foreign Wars Bruce Post 1146
The Veterans of Foreign Wars dedicates itself to "Honoring the dead by serving the living." Various community events and fundraisers take place at the Bruce Post VFW on Jefferson. The banquet halls are available for rental for private parties such as weddings, graduation parties and family reunions. Facilities include an outdoor pavillion and a gazebo on the lake as well as three indoor banquet halls with capacities of 75, 150 and 300 people respectively.
