 gan: From Revolution to Statehood.\nVisitors will learn about the state'
 s early history via exhibits\, presentations and activities.\nOn March 1
 1\, Alan Naldrett\, archivist/librarian at Baker College and member of t
 he Chesterfield Township Historical Society\, will talk about the "war" 
 that helped bring Michigan to statehood. You'll learn interesting "warti
 me" facts such the only fatality was a pig and a major skirmish involved
  the plunder of a vegetable garden.\nThe program is free\, but pre-regis
 tration is required.\nExhibits  are free and don&rsquo\;t require advanc
 e registration to view. The Lorenzo  Cultural Center is open 10 a.m.&nda
