 gan: From Revolution to Statehood\, opens Feb. 25 and runs through May 5
 .\nVisitors will learn about the state's early history via exhibits\, pr
 esentations and activities.\nOn Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. the topic is "Michigan
 &rsquo\;s Quest for Statehood." Here\, Roger L. Rosentreter\, Ph.D.\, pr
 ofessor\, Michigan State University\, and former editor of Michigan Hist
 ory magazine\, will talk about the lives of early settlers and the chall
 enges they faced.\nThe lecture also will offered April 11 at 11 a.m.\nTh
 e program is free\, but pre-registration is required. Exhibits are free 
 and don&rsquo\;t require advance registration to view. The Lorenzo Cultu
 ral Center is open 10 a.m.&ndash\;4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 1-4 p.m.
