The St. Clair Shores School of Skating and St. Clair Shores Figure Skating Club will host a free skating class from 2-3 p.m. Saturday.
The event is part of National Skating Month Celebration.
Participants need to bring their own skates, and a helmet for skaters under 6.
There will also be a performance by the St. Clair Shores Figure Skaters.

More About St. Clair Shores Figure Skating Club
The St. Clair Shores Figure Skating Club operates out of the St. Clair Shores Civic Arena. The club offers on and off ice training to teach and develop skaters in accordance with the guidelines of the United States Figure Skating Association. Early morning, afternoon and weekend sessions are available for beginner through elite competitive levels. Members regularly participate in competitions, and the club also provides proficiency testing and sponsors an annual ice show production.
