DESCRIPTION:What can you do in two hours? You could watch a movie. You co
 uld clean the basement. Or you could learn to save a life.\nBeaumont is 
 giving the community a chance to learn CPR\, part of its Family &amp\; F
 riends CPR course. It utilizes American Heart Association techniques\, p
 roviding participants with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
 \n&ldquo\;Learning CPR could ultimately save someone you love\,&rdquo\; 
 says Lesley  Ciaverilla\, CPR instructor\, Beaumont Health System. &ldqu
 o\;Anyone can learn  CPR\, and everyone should. Survival rate for people
  with cardiac arrest  outside of a hospital is less than 8 percent.&rdqu
 o\;\nThat's especially true when you learn that 80 percent of cardiac ar
 rests happen at home\, according to the American Heart Association. When
  CPR is administered immediately after sudden cardiac arrest\, it can do
 uble or even triple a person&rsquo\;s chance of survival.\nThe Family &a
 mp\; Friends CPR course teaches lifesaving skills of adult  Hands-Only&r
 eg\; CPR\; child CPR with breaths\; adult and child Automated  External 
 Defibrillator (AED) use\; infant CPR\; and relief of choking in  an adul
 t\, child or infant.\nThe Family &amp\; Friends CPR course is for practi
 cally anyone who wants to possibly save a life\, but does not need to be
  certified in CPR.\nTwo sessions are planned in the coming weeks: One on
  Thursday\, April 12\, and the other on Thursday\, June 14. Both classes
  will be held from 7-9 p.m. at the Beaumont Bon Brae Center\, located at
  22300 Bon Brae\, in St. Clair Shores. The fee is $30. For a complete li
