MOTOWN COMES TO THE EASTSIDE!
“Motown Magic” Auction promises to be an exciting evening on Friday, May 4. A super Silent Auction will begin at the Assumption Cultural Center at 6:00 p.m. with catered gourmet food stations and cash bar. Motown entertainers, Tee Turner with Pree and the Ladeez will perform the great music of the ‘60’s and famous Motown sound. Live Auction will conclude the evening with a wide spectrum of exciting items.
Sports, Electronics, Spa, Outdoors, Holiday, Kids and Cooking theme items are only a few of the categories for silent auction. Live auction items include jewelry, a theatre package, Pistons, Red Wings and Tiger tickets, catered feast for 25 by Marchiori Catering, weekend for two which includes services at the Coloseum Salon and Spa and a premier suite at Atheneum Hotel, Family event packages, Michigan Opera and Detroit Symphony Orchestra tickets to name a few.
Don’t miss the Motown “Magic”! Last year was a sellout crowd.
Tickets for the event are $35 per person. For reservations, call 586-779-6111 x 3 or 586-772-4477. Proceeds will benefit the Assumption Nursery School and Toddler Center, one of the largest preschools in the State of Michigan.

Assumption's Cultural Center offers a variety of classes to the community throughout the year and the annual Greek Festival draws many people for Greek food, entertainment and unique items.
