Motor City Comic Con, Michigan’s original comic convention, celebrates its 24th anniversary Friday to Sunday at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Attendees will be absorbed into comic culture when seeing and meeting comic icons, shopping for comic merchandise and checking out what's new in the artist alley. Groundbreaking News for Buffalo Wild Wings in St. Clair Shores

Construction crews began work Thursday on the new Buffalo Wild Wings on Harper in St. Clair Shores.

Ground was broken Thursday morning on the site of the new Buffalo Wild Wings on Harper in St. Clair Shores. Earthmovers took the first scoops of dirt at the property on Harper, north of 9 Mile, for the new 6,500-square-foot restaurant. The long-awaited sports bar, which was first announced last May, is being built on the location of the former Shorecrest Lanes and will be constructed in the traditional style of other Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants. It will also include an outdoor patio on Harper. Developers told St. Clair Shores City Council in December that the restaurant was anticipated to open in late summer.

I understand that, and that's exactly the noise that I'm talking about. Establishments such as this typically get permits for it's intended use, but there are noise ordinances. Though they will enforce them to an extent, living near such an establishment (typically on busier streets hence my wording previously) is going to be a headache. City elected officials joined members of the Macomb County Chamber this week to celebrate a pair of anniversaries for Dillon Energy Services, Inc.
