Royal Oak Benefit for Leukemia Lymphoma Society...Hairstyling by The Edwin Paul Salon

This coming Friday, June 22, 2012 head into downtown Royal Oak. Fifth Avenue Sports and Entertainment, located at 215 W. 5th Avenue, will be the venue for "The fashion, music, dancing benefit." Tickets are a $10 donation at the door, which open at 7:30 p.m. The proceeds will benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, which according to www.lls.org, was created in 1949. It is the world's largest voluntary (non-profit) health agency, dedicated to funding blood cancer research, providing education and patient services that has awarded more than $750 million.

This is the first annual event organized by Lindsey Galli. There will be a fashion show with fashions provided by "Buy Only Vintage," an online retailer. Starting at 8 p.m., music will be performed by local artist, Kristina Leavy, which will create a great atmosphere for a great time for a great cause. All promotional material for the evening was designed by Claire Ondillo design. Throughout the night there will be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Lindsey will also be riding in the RTC 2012 VIVA Bike Vegas Gran Fondo, a 122-mile century bike ride in Las Vegas to raise more money and awareness.

The Edwin Paul Salon stylists will donate their time and talents to create hairstyles and makeup that will flow down the runway to enhance the vintage styles that the 20 models will be showcasing! The Edwin Paul Salon and Spa is also donating gift certificates for salon/spa services along with baskets of various products. Both are located in Grosse Pointe Woods for 26 years. Stylists from the salon have attended countless seminars and classes to encourage continued growth in the latest styles and techniques.

After hearing her niece was organizing this event, one of the stylists, Vicki Lynn from Edwin Paul Salon, wanted to be part of raising money for a cause that has grown close to her heart as her daughter's long-time friend, at 24, is now battling this disease.

To show you support, join the party for a great cause!
