Patch wants to know what you think about the debt ceiling debate in Washington, D.C.
While politicians in Washington, D.C., debate whether to raise the debt ceiling, ordinary citizens will have to deal with the ramifications of their actions—or inactions.
The politicians are trying to reach a debt-limit deal before an Aug. 2 deadline, when the United States could default on some of its debt.
To find out what residents in Michigan think about the talks, Patch asked the members of a knitting group at the Dockside Cafe in St. Clair Shores and talked to customers in the Village shopping district in Grosse Pointe.
