8:59 PM Sunday night. Some "help us defeat Obama" robo call. Some PAC I didn't stay on the line. Usually I'm amused and listen. This was too late and frankly hurts in my opinion their cause. I was considering voting third party or write in Gary Johnson. Now I'm considering a punishment vote. Stop calling me! Everybody!

I keep reporting them on the do not call registry. I think that it costs them something like $15,000 per complaint, once they have been officially told not to call.

Erin, my gut tells me that he will say whatever to get into office. He is banking on the stupidity of American voters. When he is in office, I imagine we will see another round of Bush policies.

Plus, he is beholden to the Koch brothers. Will he really bite the hand that is feeding him his political cash?

@Christopher, we do know that Mittens signed docs as the head of Bain after he signed other docs saying that he wasn't the head of Bain. Mittens has a poor record of telling the truth. Nobody can really argue that.

MV, this is one of my favorite left wing comments. The whole world, right and left, believed based on credible information that Hussain (not Barack, the other one) had WMD's. And many reasonable people would still argue that the chemicals weapons he had where in sufficient quantitites to qualify. Of course, the semi's the ran across the border to Syria as we were invading had apples in them, right?

Michigan - Jarrett? I don't think she's recommended invading a country with fabricated WMD data. But after listening to Romney 's foreign policy speech, sounds like he's ready for Round 2 in Iran.

I'm very concerned about super hawkish foreign policy folks R/R plan to bring along. Having been in, and followed Republican and Conservative politics for decades (more Independent now), I recognize a lot of these names and know their ideology and history. It's really concerning me. If Romney and Ryan weren't such neoophytes in foreign policy, I could plan on them offering some push pack on recommendations, but I'm afraid in this realm, they're empty suits.

Additionally, Romney says also he will "listen to the generals on the ground". Okay, and when do generals on the ground NOT want more troops, more aggressive action, more weapons? Not to mention all the contractors who want to continue the gravy train of over a decade of non-stop war + a Republican candidate promising even MORE engagement and permanent stationing around the world.

And, of course, we can double our military involvement without it adding to the deficit? Maybe military spending is just like tax cuts - "you never have to pay for them. They pay for themselves". Yeah, that's worked out pretty well over the last decade.

You can't have a foreign policy run on rhetoric and dangerous precedents of the last R administration.
