Students at Violet Elementary School are jumping for joy for a number reasons.
The students have been jumping rope for a good cause - the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. Additionally, as of the end of February, Violet was the top school in Michigan.
Students raised of $28,048.02 as of Feb. 28.
