Two St. Clair Shores Break-In Suspects to Stand Trial

Two of men charged in multiple home invasions in the southern end of the city will stand trial in Macomb Circuit Court. A third man was found incompetent to stand trial.

Two men police allege were involved in dozens of in the southern end of the city will stand trial in Macomb Circuit Court.

Gantay Reynolds, 19, and Robert Morey, 48, both of St. Clair Shores have been bound over to stand trial in Macomb Circuit Court.

Cordney Stewart, 22, of St. Clair Shores, who was also arrested in connection with the break-ins, was found incompetent to stand trial Tuesday in . He will be sent to a state facility for treatment.

Reynolds is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and receiving and concealing stolen property. He is being held in the Macomb County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Morey is facing home invasion and receiving and concealing stolen property. He is being held on $700,000 bond.

The men are alleged to have been involved in the break-ins which occurred in neighborhoods east of Beaconsfield, and north of Old Eight Mile.
