Tin Fish Restaurant Coming to St. Clair Shores

A post on the Jefferson Beach Marina Facebook page announced the Tin Fish restaurant chain will come to St. Clair Shores and will replace The Beach Grill.

The Nautical Mile will soon have a new restaurant in a familiar location.

Jefferson Beach Marina posted on their Facebook page that Tin Fish will open in the former Beach Grill.

The restaurant chain currently has location at Partridge Creek and 12 Oaks Mall.

"Tin Fish will introduce their unique brand of menu items, entertainment and hospitality to the Marina and Shores community," the post stated.

An opening date is pending.

Officials with Jefferson Beach Marina and Tin Fish could not be reached for comment.

Jefferson Beach Marina purchased the Beach Grill last year from Mark DiMaso, who helped open bar and restaurant 15 years ago on the site of the original Brownie's on the Lake, according to a story in the St. Clair Shores Sentinel.

Since the one closed in New Haven - I think this is a wonderful addition to the waterfront...Charlie's Crab would have been nice - but Tin Fish is good :-)

As a resident of the Nautical Mile I welcome the Tin Fish. Hopefully the atmosphere is a little less high brow than that of the Beach Grill.

Tin fish menu will be a flop vs Beach Grill. Plus their high prices for mediocre food will be their downfall. People may come once but they won't return a second time. Looks like Brownies and Rojo will be the winners on the beach.
